Measure the width of the wall and multiply by 0.60 to 0.75 to find the ideal width of your art. For a statement piece, choosing the larger option is often better to avoid the space looking empty.
Above furniture
For above a sofa, bed, or console, the artwork’s width should be approximately two-thirds the width of the furniture. There should be a gap between the bottom of the art and the top of the furniture of around 15-25 cm.
