Koi Jump Guard

A koi pond with a low retaining wall and no koi jump guard fitted is a pond that eventually loses a fish. Koi jump further than most owners expect, especially when startled by a heron, a dog, or someone walking past too close to the edge, and a wall under 300mm rarely stops them.

Each guard is cut from 10mm clear toughened glass, made to order to your exact length and height rather than sold as a fixed panel. Toughened rather than laminated, because a jump guard takes the odd knock, from a pond net, a heron, or a curious cat, and needs to shrug that off rather than needing a repair every time something bumps it.

Length runs up to 3000mm per section, height from a 120mm minimum upward. There is no fixed industry standard for jump guard height yet. 200mm suits most garden ponds. Deeper ponds or known jumpers do better at 300mm or 350mm. Fixing is chosen at the point of order, posts, D clamps, or corner clamps, depending on how your pond edge is built and whether the guard needs to wrap a corner or run straight.

Every pond glass window is cut to your exact dimensions and made to order. You have 24 hours from the point of purchase to change your dimensions or cancel. After that the glass is likely already in production and changes or cancellations may carry an additional charge.

Delivery and Handling
We deliver by pallet or specialist glass-carrying van, curbside. The driver gets it to your property line. Moving the glass from there is your responsibility, so have help on hand. Delivery is free to most mainland UK addresses. The following postcodes fall outside the free delivery zone: AB, BT, CT, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, IV, KA, KW, KY, ML, PA, PH, PL, TD, TN23 to 30, TR.
