Switchable Walk On Glass Skylight

A switchable walk on glass skylight carries the same load bearing structure as the standard walk on range and adds a privacy function underneath it. It suits exactly the spaces where a fixed, permanently transparent floor would be one thing too many, a bathroom, a bedroom, or a room sitting beneath a roof terrace.

The structural pane is identical to the standard walk on unit, three layers of 10mm clear toughened glass laminated with a 1.5mm EVA interlayer for a 33mm floor. A switchable glass panel is bonded to the underside and inset 100mm from every edge, so the structural glass carries the full load while the switchable layer stays fully protected beneath it.

The panel changes from transparent to opaque. Some people know this as a switchable glass skylight, others call it a privacy glass skylight, but it's the same technology either way, giving control over privacy, glare and light flow between floors.

• Made to order: All panels are custom manufactured. Orders can be amended or cancelled within 24 hours. After this period, changes may incur fees depending on production progress
  
  
• Curbside delivery only: Deliveries may arrive by pallet or loose from a specialist glass transport vehicle. Please ensure you have the means to safely unload and handle the panels
