What 4mm Toughened Glass Is Used For

4mm toughened glass is around five times stronger than standard float glass of the same thickness and, like all toughened safety glass, breaks into small, blunt granules rather than sharp shards. Every panel is BS EN 12150 certified with a permanent safety stamp, cut, drilled and polished to size before toughening, with polished edges as standard.
