Walk-on flat glass rooflights are increasingly the first choice for builders, developers and architects. The panels are straightforward to install and transform dark spaces, letting natural light flow through a property.

How Our 33mm Walk-On Panels Are Built

33mm walk-on glass rooflights are fabricated in house by our specialist team using 3 layers of 10mm clear toughened glass and laminated together with 1.5mm thick EVA interlayer. Then a 6mm clear toughened panel is sealed to the bottom with 15mm warm edge spacer bar to create a stepped insulted unit.  

Borders, Frameworks and Finishes

We can encapsulate a black painted border into the glass to cover the framework it is sitting on once installed. We offer 6 sizes of border but can do custom sizes and colours if required. Please contact us on info@bespokeglassproducts.co.uk for more information.

Order and Delivery Information

A custom made steel framework can also be ordered to suit your glass floor and is powder coated matt black as a standard. These have a foam sealing strip and countersink fixing holes to allow you to screw the frame down before installing the glass. These are ideal if you are planning to install your glass floor into a concrete opening. 

Glass Rooflights For Flat Roofs

A walk-on flat glass rooflight sits flush with the surface it is set into, which is what makes it suitable for flat roofs where the space above is being used. Roof terraces, balconies and patios all work, as does an internal installation over a basement or between floors. Because every panel is made to your opening, there is no standard size to design around.

If the roof is not being walked on, a frameless glass rooflight gives the same daylight with a slimmer profile. For privacy on demand, the switchable walk on rooflight adds smart glass to the same 33mm build.

• As each panel is made to order, you accept by placing the order that you have 24 hours to cancel or amend, we can attempt to make changes/cancel afterwards but there may be fee's for doing so which will be advised as requested. 
  
  
• All our deliveries are CURBSIDE. Please note our panels can be delivered by Pallet or loose from the back of a glass carrying van so please be well prepared for delivery. Our Team will happily talk through delivery times and advise on handling correctly.
